Neighbouring the historic village of Beaugency and approximately 90 minutes south of Paris, Les Bordes is spread across 1,400 acres of the Sologne Forest in the Loire Valley. It was originally established in 1987 by Baron Marcel Bich, with lanes weaving between the forest, glimpses of red deer, wild boar and pheasants, sweeping lakes and natural clearings. In addition to countless outdoor pursuits for the whole family, the Estate is home to the world renowned Les Bordes Golf Club - a private members golf club which aims to consistently offer the best combined 46 holes of golf in continental Europe.
